of The London Korean Film
Festival
Welcome to the website of the annual Korean Film Festival.
Jam-packed with festival hits, Korean box office smashes, debut works from Korea’s new directing talent, independent film and bravura animation, 2009's festival was an unmissable cinematic feast and 2010's will be even better.
Highlights of last year's festival included an exclusive extended version of Park Chan-wook’s award winning cerebral vampire movie Thirst, a special ScreenTalk with Yang Ik-june and his acclaimed first film Breathless and a special Archive focus on Yu Hyun-mok, widely regarded as the best Korean director of all time. This year we will be bringing even more of Korea's top names over to the UK with screenings of the Cannes senesation Housemaid and Korean war film 71- Into the Fire with more films being announced in the run up to our opening night.
In the meantime you can visit this site for industry news and release, read about other international film festivals and find out about our Korean Film Nights, held twice each month at the Korean Cultural Centre UK, on London's Strand.
